Educating the individual is one of the most valuable investments. It represents the foundation for progress and development. Education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability. Skills, and skills development, are an essential component of all efforts in this challenging society. Today, too many citizens are simply unprepared to meet the needs of enterprises, particularly in more competitive economic environments. If we wish to prepare a generation of citizens, entrepreneurs and leaders for the 21th. century who can face real-world problems, we must give them real-world problems to solve.
