Multimedia can improve the ability of the curator to communicate and engage with an audience that has many other options for the use of its leisure time. Games are an excellent form of multimedia, and can provide this effectively if they fulfil certain criteria and are designed with pedagogical features. Although this can be a successful approach, compromise will have to be made regarding educational content, and playability of the game.
