This article explores the nature of work that the membership of ILRN is undertaking. Through an analysis of survey results and podcast recordings, this article lays out the key areas where the respondents have undertaken work, what they wish in terms of their next steps and what they view as the biggest questions yet to be answered in the field. A review of these results indicate that there are vast areas of potential for the field as a whole, but we have to navigate some of the growing pains inherent in a relatively young field of study.
