Abstract

Serious games as learning activities have been studied and found to be valuable even before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the school outages, a math exercising serious game, covered by this work in progress paper, has been suggested. The aim of the serious game is to teach and exercise basic mathematical techniques through engaging game activities. In order to best achieve this, knowledge in the fields of serious game design and didactic from previous works will be applied. As of this writing, the game is still in the earliest stages of development.
